Lake Gloriette is a 32 acre spring-fed body of water that has reflected and enhanced The BALSAMS since its development in 1898.  The lake is home to many trout, and fly fishing is permitted.  A fleet of rowboats, canoes, and paddleboats stand waiting at the shore, and are complimentary for our guests to use.  Life vests are also provided.  

A refreshing swim in the lake is allowed, for those who dare to brave the chilly water!  Guests who prefer warmer water will delight in the lakeside outdoor heated pool.  Lifeguards and waterfront attendants are on duty during operating hours.

Additional activities at the waterfront include badminton, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, croquet, bocce and shuffleboard. There is also a poolside cabana bar for a refreshing mid-afternoon beverage or treat.

Use of all waterfront facilities is complimentary to registered guests.
