New Hampshire Flower Gardens

Nearly 35,000 plants and flowers are found throughout The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel, bringing a sense of life and enjoyment to our classic New England resort atmosphere. Walking tours are offered on a regular basis during the summer season, and a self-guided Tour of the Gardens & Plantings is also available. The grounds consist of five major garden areas and a multitude of other flowerbeds and planted areas. Fruit bearing shrubs have been planted to provide food for birds and wildlife. In addition, BALSAMS Corporation, the hotels ownership group, has been certified as a tree farm by the American Forest Foundation. This certification testifies to the commitment of The BALSAMS to forest conservation and responsible stewardship of its 15,000-acre estate resort.
