New Hampshire Alpine Skiing

The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel features an on-site alpine ski area with 16 beautiful tree-lined trails, five gladed areas and a Terrain Park. The vertical drop is 1,000 feet, with some runs stretching two miles plus a separate slope for beginners and a ski-play area for youngsters. A modern snowmaking system is in place to supplement Mother Nature on 80% of the trails. Certified members of the National Ski Patrol are on duty every day and PSIA certified instructors offer private coaching and group classes in alpine and telemark skiing, as well as snowboarding.
